| OBSERVATIONS & REQUESTS |
| PLATE | EXPLANATION |
|---|
| 2ARROGNT | Wonder if this person is referring to themself, or complaining about someone else?? |
| 2SPOILED | This one's pretty clear, though WHO is too spoiled remains an important question... |
| 3FOLD | "Three fold" what, I wonder? |
| 4U2RVL | For you to reveal? Or is it "revel"? Wonder what that might be (the thing to be relieved)? Perhaps it's a religious meaning... |
| A-CAUSE | No doubt "B-CAUSE" is also out there trolling around somewhere in the state... |
| ALST8TE | This could be a reference to the insurance company; more likely it's a sports reference but can't be sure, so put it in the "observations" category with a cross reference... |
| AIM-HI | Probably someone who was in the Air Force -- or else a "glass half FULL" kind of character: The power of positive thinking... |
| ARCANE | I like this one--the dictionary description of the word "arcane"= "known or knowable only to the initiate" -- i.e., mysterious, obscure...A very interesting word choice for a plate... |
| B BOLD | Self-explanatory |
| B-HAVE | Good advice! |
| B!UE EYZ | This driver HAS blue eyes? Likes blue eyes? Recommends blue eyes to everyone? Uncertain... |
| BRN2RUL | "Born to Rule"??? Absolutely NO lack of confidence for this individual. Not sure what domain this driver rules, however... |
| C$MOOV | This is a pretty cool plate--maybe the driver works in a bank or at a stockbroker company and observes monetary transactions? |
| COOLREDI | COOL and READY??...or a way to get LADY out there without using "L"ADY? It's anyone's guess here... |
| DBL-F | This is very possibly an off color observation... |
| DIG THIS | Self-explanatory |
| DISMINE2 | No doubt about the owner, in this case... |
| DNT X ME | A definite warning on this plate! |
| DO-N-FINE |
Possible relation of the one below, haha?! |
| DO N OK | Nice and positive |
| DORK2 | I see this one as a personal observation (though could also class as a character type)...and, there are apparently several DORKs out there already, if this person is 2 (unless it's in fact a short form of "too"... |
| DUNSE | Not sure who's intended as the "Dunce" (plate owner used an alternate spelling)--the driver, or whoever is reading the plate... |
|
DUNTHAT | Can't help wondering if there's a second car in the family with a plate that reads "BINTHERE"? |
| DWN*2ERT | Not sure if this really applies, since the vehicle happened to be a flashy sports car...Thanks 2 Daniel for this one, and the commentary! |
|
EARGSOM | If you say this fast, it comes out sounding like "irksome" -- wonder if that was the real intent? Something this driver finds annoying? |
| ES MIO 2 | A person who is of Spanish heritage--or who really likes Spanish--"It's mine 2." Perhaps a Spanish relative of DISMINE2 (or DISMINE1)?? This contribution thanks to my bass player, Michael |
| EEEEEEK! | This driver is afraid of mice, maybe? |
| EMILY'S | A very nice name that you don't hear very often these days. I parked in a movie theater lot, and the Honda parked across from me had this plate. In the theater, at the counter to buy popcorn (not the movies without popcorn!), I noticed the clerk's name tag read: EMILY. I asked, "You wouldn't by chance happen to drive a blue Honda with..." -- she finished for me "the Emily license plate? Yep, that's mine." |
|
ETMOCHKN | Eat more chicken?? This plate could have been an ad for a restaurant, or a poultry farmer... |

| GOTRBACK | Don't know if this refers to the auto, or a girlfriend... |
| HBGFT2RB | This one's really clever--can you figure it out? Mouse over the answer here: HB's GIFT 2 RB -- i.e., probably a reference to the car ... |
| HEKFYNO | One of my personal favorites -- "heck if I know!"... |
| HEY-THR | No help needed for this one!... |
|
HOWGLAD | Very positive!... |
|
HPYENDIN | Glad things turned out well for this individual... |
| IAM42NUT | The power of positive thinking. This person feels she/he has, as the Romans would have said, "BONA FORTUNA"... |
| IBLD4U2 | A construction worker (I build for you, too)? A military person talking about potential willingness to sacrifice on our behalf (I bleed for you, too)? ... Thanks to Daniel for this contribution |
| ICAMALL | Clearly someone who is into large venue shopping!(I SEE A MALL) |
| IGOTULKN | Here's a great plate--neutral enough to belong to someone from either gender--but I suspect the owner is probably a female... |
|
I HEAL U | This could be a doctor (which would put in the Employment category), or perhaps religious...You can decide... |
| IMDUINME | I hesitate to try and explain this one...self-gratification of some sort??? |
| IM WIRED | Great one--I like this attitude... |
| ISIGN4U | I wonder what, exactly, this individual "signed" or signs, for another person? More likely, it's someone who does sign language for folks who are auditorially challenged... |
| ISOGOTIT | This one's pretty good--though I'm not sure if this person is talking about "it" meaning a general understanding, or as in some sort of disease--or prize?!! |
| JSTFLRTN | This is good!! How many flirters do YOU know??!! Thanks to Daniel for this contribution... |
| JUS BNME | Love this plate -- JUST BEING ME--nothing wrong with that, ha!... |

| LIV4FUN | This person is not the type to take life too seriously...! |
| LS 2GO | Pretty self-explanatory |
| MAD @ ME | Someone has raised someone else's ire...Wonder if it's a spouse that is mad? Or, a kid whose parents, girlfriend or boyfriend is mad? This is the first time that we have ever encountered the @ symbol on a plate... |
|
MAVALOUS | I'm reminded of Billy Chrystal... |
| MEGOB4U | Not sure if this refers to driving, or dying?! This reminds me of a 1700 or 1800s gravestone saying: "Behold and see as you pass by - as you are now, so once was I; as I am now, soon you shall be! Prepare yourself to follow me." Some clever soul had wandered by in later years and carved this addendum into the gravestone: "To follow you I am not content until I know which way you went!" |
| MOVE OVR | In other words, this driver doesn't want to see you in the rear view mirror? |
| NOTOQUE |
Female driver; at first I thought this was NOTOQUE as in NO TOKE...but I believe it's actually NO TO QUESTIONS... |
| O 2 BEME | Hehe! No shyness on this person's part! |
| OFFTOWRK | Pretty easy to figure this one out!! 40-ish female driver, wearing really funky white-framed shades... |
| OMYBAC | Someone who needs a chiropractor! |
| OVATAKEU | Actually, if the car with this plate is in FRONT of you then the correct response would be OVATOOKU (or OVA2KU) |
| PAYNHAH | I'm putting this in the observation category, as it looks to me like someone making fun of pain, as in PAIN, HAH! Course, I could be totally mistaken, but until someone tells me differently... |
| PUREH20 | Someone who owns a water company? An environmentalist, perhaps?... |
| PUSH | Push what(?), one wonders--the answer may follow below... |
| PUSH & GO | Personally, "PUSH&PUL" seems more natural to me, or maybe "DONTPUSH!"--but, hey, that's just me... |
| RAWRRR | This driver likes big cats, maybe (I'm assuming this is a way to say "Roar" (which was probably already taken)... |
| RAYZUP | this one's pretty neat, but seems unfinished -- raise up and...?!! What comes next? Course, it could be a religious reference to resurrection...or standing up to praise...
| RES-Q-ME | No trouble figuring this one out! From what, I wonder? |
| RIDE.N | Ridin'? |
| RIGGGHT! | No question about this one! |
|
SAMEOLDG | "Same old dog"--great plate~!... |
| SAVAHRSE | Someone who wants to help members of the equestrian race... |
| SHEGOTIT | Want to know exactly what it is that she "GOT"? |
|
SHOW ME | This driver wants to see something... |
|
SODOWE | "WE" also do/have(?) something? --wonder what that 'something' might be?... |
| SPOT 1 | Probably intended to mean SPOT ON (British version of "just right" or "exactly right") |

|
UAHATER | Commenting on someone else's character, I presume... |
|
UBROKET1 | Haha, finger pointing here! You broke it--and there's a "1", thus someone else before this driver wanted to point out the same fact and gor the original plate (with no number)! |
UNTMOCHA| "Mocha" pops up a lot on license plates, together with "brown" and in reference to color, sometimes as a euphemism for African-American ethnicity. This person seems to be of the opinion that someone else is NOT "brown" (African-American?)... | |
UPDDUBS| "Up D Dubs"? Not quite sure how to call this one...Viewed in Nashville, TN | |
| U R LAME | Well, this one's definitely directed at someone other than the driver! |
| WAKE4ME2 | I could understand this if it were WAIT4ME2, but I am somewhat at a loss with the WAKE 4 ME angle... |
| WA$ HI$ | Haha, no question about THIS observation...The end of wedded bliss, pain! (or in her case, pain--but ultimately pleasure). Thanks to Donovan for this one! |
| WELUVLAX | Los Angeles airport?? I hope it doesn't mean these folks love... laxatives??? Not sure what else LAX might represent... |
| WHTALADY | Observation about a friend? Or about the driver? I suppose it depends on the driver's gender (not recorded).. |
| WHATOFIT | This driver is certainly putting their opinion out there (so what??)... |
|
WIRED | This person is running high? Excited?... |
| YEBOSAYO | This driver is probably Korean (or someone who spent some time in Korea), since the telephone greeting in that country is "Yoboseyo" (pronounced "Yobosayo") for "hello". The "YO-" spelling was probably already used... |
| Y ASK ME | Really, I haven't a clue, so you might as well turn to someone else, haha!... |
| YB JELUS | Haha, a very good question--possibly aimed at an envious partner? A unique spelling for jealous--but it works...Special thanks to Daniel for this contribution |
| Y-U-ON-ME | Meaning-- YOU are following too close? Or, that someone is always hassling this driver?... |
| YUR IT | For all those who liked playing "Tag" as a kid... |
